This agreement is made between the
purchaser (licensee) and Accent Music Productions

This single-site, non exclusive license is granted to the licensee to use the music purchased subject to the following terms and conditions.

The licensee may:

i) Use the music for the lifetime of the purchaser within a single or multiple projects (no volume restrictions). Where the music is to be used at multiple sites, separate licenses must be purchased for each site.

ii) Rerecord or duplicate the music into an editing system (mechanical rights)

iii) Combine the music with other production elements (synchronization rights) such as voice-overs, visual imagery and/or sound effects – mandatory.

iv) Publicly broadcast their production, including any music by Accent Music Productions (performance rights)

When broadcast on television or radio (land, satellite or internet), a cue sheet must be completed and filed. Cue sheets can be downloaded at www.accentmusiccds.com/cuesheets. We would be happy to assist with this.

Please provide us with the following information and a staff member will file on your behalf then send confirmation by email.

1. Title of film, commercial/advertisement, program or series

2. Episode Title and number

3. Names of Producer, Director and Distributor

4. Principal Actors

5. Year of Production

6. Country of Origin

7. Date of first presentation

8. Programme Duration

9. Music Duration

10. Music Track

Note: Domestic and international broadcast of Accent Music Productions music library is cleared through SOCAN (Society of composers, authors and music publishers of Canada). Cue sheets enable Accent Music Productions to collect royalties due from publicly broadcast music. SOCAN collects directly from the broadcast station licensing. The licensee incurs no extra charge.

Credits: Music used for television programming and movies must be credited as, ‘Track Title’ by Accent Music Productions. Credits are not required for other projects but appreciated if included.

When broadcasting over the internet, ensure that there are no more than 30 seconds of free standing music. Music must be embedded and inhibitable from download. The licensee is permitted to broadcast on You Tube and other media sharing sites in accordance with this condition.

The licensee may not:

i) Rerecord or alter the music in any way for the purposes of creating a new composition.

ii) Add lyrics to any title.

iii) Create and audio CD using music only. All music must be combined with other production elements.

iv) Sell, sub-license or share by any means any music purchased from Accent Music Productions.

It is understood that copyright to all original music in our library is the sole property of Accent Music Productions. Recordings of other composers’ works are also copyrighted by Accent Music Productions and are not deemed public domain.

Once produced in one of the listed countries, you are legally entitled to sell, broadcast your product worldwide.
